Dr. Paul Schmitt

Paul Schmitt is from San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. He joined the Beard Navasota Veterinary Hospital team in May 2014 and became an owner in 2015. Paul has membership in Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, America Association of Bovine Practitioners, American Association of Equine Practitioners and Academy of Veterinary Consultants. Paul and his family are members of the First Baptist Church of Navasota. In his free time Paul likes to work on classic cars and spend time with his wife Hearin and daughters Emmerich, Porter, and Vivian.

Dr. Blane Eschberger

Blane Eschberger is from Hallettsville, TX.  He graduated from Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2012 and joined the staff of Beard Navasota Veterinary Hospital shortly after graduation. He became an owner in 2017. Blane is a member of, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association and The Society for Theriogenology. Blane and his family are members of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. In his free time Blane likes landscaping, mountain biking and spending time with his wife Anne Marie and children Ella, Adeline, and Reid.

Dr. Shannon Denault

Shannon Denault is from Tomball, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and joined BNVH in June of 2018. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Angus Association. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, gardening, and spending time with his wife Leanne, and 3 sons Nolan, Theo, and Conor. He also co-manages a registered Angus cattle herd in Tomball and Hempstead, Texas.

Dr. Colin Sanders

Dr. Colin Sanders is from Little River-Academy, Texas. He is a recent graduate from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Sanders originally joined the BNVH team in 2017 as a large animal technician, and after graduating, he decided to come back to Beard Navasota Veterinary Hospital to practice medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, watching Aggie sports and spending time with his wife Delanie. .

Dr. Joe Scott Pace

Dr. Joe Scott Pace was raised in Brady, Texas. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Angelo State University. Dr. Pace first joined Beard Navasota as a 4th year Veterinary extern in the winter of 2023, and now joining the practice as a recent graduate from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2024. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Bovine Practitioners, and American Association of Swine Veterinarians. In his spare time, Dr. Pace enjoys fishing, hunting and golfing.

Dr. Dylan Bostick

Dr. Dylan Bostick was raised in Brownwood, Texas. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree as part of the 2025 inaugural graduating class of the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, he worked as a large animal technician at Beard Navasota Veterinary Hospital starting in 2018, where he also briefly managed the PALS program. His veterinary interests include food animal medicine, herd health, and bovine practice. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, Academy of Veterinary Consultants, and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. In his spare time, Dr. Bostick enjoys CrossFit, working cattle on his family’s ranch, and spending time with his girlfriend and their dogs.

Dr. Dalton Deckert

Dr. Dalton Deckert is from Angleton, Texas. He graduated from the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2025 as part of the inaugural class. He joined BNVH in July of 2026, after spending a year working at a mixed animal practice in Floresville, Texas. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. As a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2021, he is happy to be back in the area. In his spare time, Dr. Deckert enjoys spending time outdoors, helping with his family’s commercial and registered Brahman cattle , and spending time with his wife and their two dogs.
